Basically the way programming works on campus is illustrated by the above pyramid. RAs design programs for their individual floors; Hall councils program for all the floors in the building. RHA programs for all of the buildings on campus, and finally, SAC (Student Activities Council) programs for all of the students at Missouri State, whether they are on or off campus. |
The Residence Hall Association is the
Students' Voice in the Residence Halls. RHA was created to help better the
lives of residents of Missouri State. It is comprised of a seven
member Executive Board and a legislative branch known as the General
Assembly. The General Assembly contains representatives from each
residence hall on campus who vote on legislation that makes the students'
voice heard to the Department of Residence Life and Services and to the
University as a whole. The Residence Hall Association also provides
educational and entertaining programming as well as services to the
residents on campus. We meet every Monday at 4:00 in room 313 in the student union. If you have any suggestions to help make Missouri State a better place for you, come to our meetings and voice your opinion. If you do not have time please feel free to write any of the officers an e-mail. This website's goal is to be an excellent resource for you. If you have any comments or suggestions, email RHA@missouristate.edu To contact any of the Executive Board, click on Officers at the top of the page. Most of the content for this website is in the Resources section. Bookmark the main page to keep up to date with everything going on. To return to the main page at any time, simply click the RHA logo which is at the top of every page. Most of the links to outside websites will open in a separate window. |
